James K.
Private tutor in Seattle, WA
Education
I am currently a PhD student at the UW in the Physics department working for a professor in the Applied Math department. I have passed my Master's Review and thus expect to receive my M.S. in Physics this fall. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Oregon in 2011 with a B.S. in both Physics and Mathematics.
Experience
I first started tutoring math and science in 2006 at Umpqua Community College in Oregon for the Transfer Opportunity Program. I worked there for 2.5 years, and in my last year of tutoring there won the "T.O.P. Tutor of the Year" award. I have since worked as a TA teaching labs and tutorial sessions both in my senior year at UO and in my time as a UW graduate student.
