Experience

Teaching ASL over 25 years, currently a home-school instructor and a college instructor teaching ASL. I tutor all the time in my office, student's home, and at a coffee shop. I teach employees at the workplaces learn ASL too. Tutoring ASL is a way to help bridge communication with my students. Bringing two worlds together to communicate is my passion. I am deaf and ASL is my native language. I enjoy helping students keep on signing.

I have a certified hearing dog, Luke who alerts me to sounds that I cannot hear. I love to play with my dog, yard work, and I love to cook. I am friends with some of my former ASL students. I tell stories in signs to help the students work on their receptive skills as well as their expressive skills.
