-Specific focus on early 20th century literature and poetry. Very knowledgable on Modernist literature and history. Secondary focus was on Shakespearean and Elizabethan literature and history.
Worked abroad in Paris, France for 6 months.
Experience-I love to laugh and have fun! Tutoring shouldn't be a chore or a bore. I like to engage students to think creatively and really connect with the material they are studying.

-I've tutored a variety of students in a variety of subjects. Everything from one-on-one tutoring to tutoring in small groups. Having tutored in a professional program at Butler University I have a good grasp on how to present material and build on foundations to create a well developed understanding of the subject.

-I currently live in the University District of Seattle just a few blocks from the University of Washington. I am happy to meet students anywhere near campus or to work with them over Skype or email.
HobbiesI graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis with a Bachelor's of Arts in English Writing and have written for a variety of publications including Indiana Living Green, Twenty Something Indy, Lifehack and my personal blog Indy Girl Press.
I currently live in the University District just a few blocks from the University of Washington. Go Huskies!
I enjoy running on the Burke-Gilman trail, reading poetry and fiction prose, writing, traveling, and environmental activism. I'm currently involved as a volunteer at Hugo House and enjoy taking poetry classes with them. I'm currently working on publishing a selection of my own poetry.
