In college I started with informal tutoring of some of my friends having trouble in their math, physics, and astrophysics classes. Later, I spent a year as a part-time tutor for a walk-in math tutoring service run by the university. I like helping people who have enthusiasm for these subjects but are finding themselves stuggling; many times I've seen how much of a difference a one-on-one learning environment can make.
