-I volunteer tutored refugee children with limited English skills (2008).
-I completed tutoring training for ESL adult literacy (2009).

Why I Teach:
-Through social work training and teaching experience, I have developed a great deal of patience for struggling students. I believe I have a gift for understanding unique learning styles and personal strengths and catering towards those traits.
-At my core, I'm a coach. I feel most satisfied when I know I've helped someone achieve a goal.
HobbiesI'm a very active person, enjoying kickboxing, dancing, hiking, and yoga. I also enjoy cooking, reading, art/theater, and making new friends. As a recent transplant to Seattle, I'd love to learn what you and your family do for fun here!
