Education

University of Washington - BA, History

Experience

I am a tutor specializing in subjects that involve reading and writing. I especially enjoy guiding students in the writing and editing of essays and other works. I have always been drawn to the subjects of American, European, and World History, Philosophy, English Literature and Composition, French, Latin, and Psychology. It is important to me that each student gets what they need and I understand that everyone learns differently. When tutoring, I carefully assess my students' abilities and needs so that I can create the appropriate course of instruction that will best help them. My experience as a legal assistant at a law firm in downtown Seattle has helped me to have patience, and be more outgoing. In 2012 I acquired a B.A. in History from the University of Washington in Seattle. Since the fall of 2014 I have also been a J.D. student at the University of Washington School of Law. In my spare time, you can often find me snowboarding, backpacking, traveling, and cooking. As an undergrad I was also on the Varsity Women's rowing team.
