Experience
I graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in French Studies and Cultural Anthropology, and am currently pursuing a master's degree in Teaching. I began tutoring in 2001, and in the intervening years I have worked with a wide range of students both locally and internationally. Teaching is my greatest passion. I love helping students to find their interests within a wide range of academic subjects, and believe that inspiring curiosity and exploration is the key to good teaching. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the educational experience, since I understand the power of learning. I most enjoy tutoring students in language-related areas such as Cultural Studies, Writing, and History. I also work with students studying French, Social Sciences, Elementary Math, and preparing for standardized tests such as the HSPT, ISEE, and SSAT, and can assist with Grammar and Mechanics, the development of public speaking skills, and ESL/ELL.
