Education

Senior at the Lakeside School in Seattle, Washington. 3.7 GPA

Experience

I've been tutoring for a year now, mostly as part of the peer tutoring program in my school, so I have a good deal of experience teaching students my age. SAT Reading: 760 SAT Math: 800 SAT Writing: 720 SAT Subject tests: Physics 800 Math II 800 I've also gotten scores of 5 on AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, both Mechanics and E&M of AP Physics C, and AP Biology. Learning is really fun for me, so my excitement for education is something that I'd like to share with my students. It does require a good deal of work and effort, but ultimately, I think that learning new things should be gratifying in itself. Since I've just taken the SAT in the past year, I'm very familiar with the current problems and format. Similarly, having taken the APs myself also recently, I'll know what material will be on the test and what won't.
