Experience

I'm currently a tutor and a student. I have tutoring experience with all age groups because I was a writing tutor at a community college and I mentored high school students and working professionals. Here is a sample of subjects I tutor in: Grammar and Mechanics, Essay Editing, Literature, Writing, College Essays, and others. As you see, my greatest niche is anything related to writing, though it didn't start off that way. When I was attending the University of California at Berkeley, I tried my hand in computer science, but found out later on that my bailiwick is essay writing. I also have an interest in politics, and I took classes related to that as well.I believe that writing is a great way for a person to express their thoughts and ideas. As a teacher, I don't just instruct my students. I also empower them to proofread their work, develop ideas, and comprehend their strengths and weaknesses as writers. In other words, I provide students tools to excel independently. In my spare time, I play my cello, run, read, and even ponder the meaning of life with my cat. I also love to relax with a cup of coffee here in Seattle.
