Experience

After I graduated with my bachelor's degree in International Studies and minoring in Japanese, I traveled to Japan and attended university there, studying Intercultural Studies. I have also studied math, cultural studies, economics, and business as well. I have tutored Japanese students in math, which is what I really enjoy, as well as helping them prepare for exams such as the SAT and SSAT. I believe that course homework can become fun and easier to learn when students are able to apply certain problems to what they are facing in class. I also think that being able to connect coursework to something memorable like a moment in their lives, or something funny is a great way to really understand and remember the material. When students gain the necessary tools, this will also help them to be successful in their lives.  Having a good attitude towards any course has always been a success for me, and I try to teach this to my students and to leave them enjoying the coursework and also yearn to learn more as they continue on in life. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with friends, surfing YouTube, and attending concerts.
