GRE score: 99% Verbal, 90% Quantitative, 5 (out of 5) Writing. For test prep I use the best methods from both Princeton Review and Kaplan and tailor our work to your problem areas. By tackling the source material for those difficult areas and honing your test taking abilities, I have been very successful raising my students' test scores dramatically. For a career I was a copywriter for advertising agencies and for Xbox. Now, I'm going back to teaching as a career change because I realized that I enjoy helping kids/adults/people learn more than anything else. I also am a writer and writing tutor. My fiction has won awards and been published in literary magazines. I was accepted at the MFA programs at Johns Hopkins and U. of Washington. I love teaching kids and adults to write, to organize and edit their thoughts into persuasive essays and compelling stories.

Hobbies
I have four kids, ages 9 through 19, so I can relate to a range of ages. I write, run, play and coach soccer, ski and my wife is a personal trainer, so I try unsuccessfully to keep up with her. And I play video games on Xbox with my boys. Other then that, I am working on my teaching degree to be a high school English teacher here in Seattle.
