Education

I have a PhD in Genetics from Georgia State University. I also have Master in Chemistry with focus on drug design and organic synthesis. I recently received a certificate from Gwenaa Moss Institute for teaching effectiveness (Canada) I am currently on the registered tutors list at the University of Washington.

Experience

I have about 10 years experience in teaching and tutoring, one on one and group/ classroom tutoring. I have taught SAT for a hand full of students while I was working for Sylvan Learning Center. I am constantly enriching my teaching and communication skills. I have received recognition for mentoring undergraduate students several times.

Availability

Saturday in the morning, Saturday in the afternoon, Sunday in the morning, Weekdays in the evening

Up to 45 minutes away at my regular hourly rate, Up to 30 minutes away for no additional charge

Hobbies

I draw/ sketch. I mainly use pencil/ charcoal. I like to try new things all the time, it can be new instrument, or new language. To me trying new things lead to the development of new skills. I live on the West coast. The weather is beautiful. The endless body of water makes it easy to walk away to a serene when I want to.
