Experience
I am a Kearn University graduate. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-5 and a 5-6 Mathematics Specialization. While a student, I made the National Dean's Honor list. I love working with my students and helping them learn and understand new math topics. It is my goal to help them become passionate about the subject. I have a lot of experience working with students. I have taught multiple levels as an intern, during practicum placements, and as a student teacher. I have taught Math for three years in both elementary and middle schools, where I have implemented and developed unit and daily lesson plans that accommodated multiple learning styles. I also have some experience at the high school level, where I worked as a TA. I was able to help students with Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, and Geometry. Recently, I have been a math tutor for middle and high school students. My desire is to educate our future generations, as I believe that all students can learn if given the right opportunity, proper education, and an encouraging environment. I am ambitious and look forward to helping students gain the experience they need to do well in their classes, on standardized exams, and in their real life.
