My name is Songchen Xie and I am from China. I am now a sophomore in the University of Washington. My major is math. And during the first year, I took all the three calculus courses and got overall 3.93 GPA . Additionally, I am a Chinese native speaker and I love learning Chinese and got a good grade when I was in high school back in China.
Experience
I took SAT subject math II test and got the full mark. Though I did not take any AP exams, I finished all of them in university with a high grade. What's more, I am more than willing to help my friends do well in math. I have organized the review group and finally they got a significant improvement in math. Personally, I enjoy the teaching process because I'd like to share knowledge with others and I will be extremely glad when they move forward with help of mine. I am very patient and passionate in teaching. Also, I can use different strategies for different students to make them understand through my logical expression and explanation. My teaching style is gentle. Specifically, I choose to encourage students to think and challenge and instill confidence to them.

Hobbies
My hobbies is running, playing badminton, and swimming. What's more, I am interested in learning different languages and reading books. Now I am learning Korean myself.
