Paul M.
Private tutor in Seattle, WA
Education
I am currently a freshman at Seattle Pacific University. My intended major is Civil Engineering.
Experience
My previous experiences with children come from volunteering in Youth Ministry at my church and being a summer camp junior high counselor. Throughout my senior year I tutored multiple students in various math classes. I enjoy tutoring because I love seeing students understand material at their own pace. I know that some classes are very structured and are set a fast pace and I have found that individual attention is the easiest way to comprehend the material. There is nothing more satisfying then seeing a student finally understand their material and I would love to help play a part in that process. I have taken multiple AP classes through high school and have held a constant 3.8 GPA. I am currently in a Calculus II class at SPU and would love to use my strengths in mathematics to help others. I have held many leadership positions through my years in Boy Scouts and in September of 2010 I earned my Eagle Scout award.
