Private tutor in Seattle, WA
Education
BS Chemistry, Western Washington University 2008 GPA 3.62 MS Chemistry, University of Oregon 2010 GPA 3.95
Experience
In the past I have been an instructor for the general chemistry courses at Seattle Central College, and a TA for the organic chemistry courses at the University of Washington. I have also tutored students in AP chemistry and MCAT physical science section for The Princeton Review. Tutoring particularly appeals to me because I have found that the best way to learn is with two way conversations rather than one way lectures. Everyone has a slightly different way of wrapping their head around the same topic, and I enjoy learning how students relate to a given topic and tweaking my knowlege to present it in a relatable way. This is what I promise to do with each of my clients as a tutor!
