I graduated in 2015 with an Associate in Arts at Green River College with a 3.7 GPA and am currently in the progress of earning my Bachelor's in Photography at Seattle University (2017-2019).
Experience
I have been working as an instructional technician for the art department at Green River College for two years now, where I assist students with Beginning-Advanced Adobe Photoshop and Design/Illustrator assignments as well as book design and portfolio studies. I've been professionally shooting for 7 years now, digital and film. I last completed an independent study where I combined traditional, alternative, and digital processes in an 11 piece series. Art is what keeps me alive, I can't imagine being in any other craft. I have a passion for teaching, for sharing the magic of art and creativity. My digital work has been published in PUMP, Coco, Section 8, and Flawless Magazine and has been featured in a RAW Artist Showcase here in Seattle and "Still Here" Art Showcase and my film work has been featured in the Queen Anne Art Walk. The classroom is a very comfortable environment for me and I have a passion for art and guidance. I am a very social open book and my number one goal is to make my clients, models, students feel comfortable and confident with themselves. In a learning environment, it's important to be an accepting and judgement-free zone with it in mind that everyone has a different learning style and ability. I recognize that a good teacher is versatile and patient.

Hobbies
I am from Washington, born and raised, and am very familiar with the area and active in the art industry here. I enjoy being active outdoors, I love hiking, yoga, and riding my bike with my partner. The Pacific Northwest is so beautiful, I love that we have a little bit of everything which makes it so fun to find new photo shoot locations. I am a people-person, very social and I am always looking to network. Human connection is so fascinating to me and teaching + learning promotes that connection.
