Education

My name is Talia and I am a current full time student pursuing my Master's Degree at the University of Washington School of Social Work. I am from Oakland, CA and am new to the Seattle area. I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a bachleor's degree in Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Spanish. I have experience tutoring middle school, high school, college students and adults in various subjects.

Experience

Before moving to Seattle I was a College Advisor at College Track, an education nonprofit based in the Bay Area, for the past three years. I have extensive experience in helping juniors and seniors in high school prepare their college applications (personal statement writing, college list creation and college application process). I advised a caseload of 75 college students, and often provided academic guidance in addition to social emotional and financial advising. I loved providing support to high school and college students in my previous position, and cannot wait to continue tutoring in my new city!
