Hello! My name is Ray and I'm here to help anyone who needs a hand getting through a tough science course or looking to get a leg up. I graduated from Seattle University with a BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I truly am a biologist at heart and have followed my interests to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. I want to be that person for someone else as they realize their potential. I have experience as a teacher's assistant for biotechnology where I guided students through both conceptual and hands on learning experiences. I look to make my lessons personalized and take a step-wise approach to teaching, building essential concepts first. When I'm not in the lab I am an avid climber, both sport and bouldering. Backpacking has also been a constant in my life and I take any chance I can to get outside and enjoy the beautiful pacific northwest.
