Experience
I began tutoring while studying philosophy on scholarship at the University of Cambridge in 2011. Because my food and housing was already paid for, my parents forced me to make my own way for any treats I wanted to buy in town. I made myself available as a tutor of English Language to the foreign student community. I began as most tutors do, teaching what I know. I have tutored over fifty children in one-on-one arrangements, across two countries and seven states, since 2011, and I am now a broadly skilled tutor, facile with mostly Reading and Writing Skills grades 1 - 12+. I am also the CEO of StudentCircle, a local tutoring company that has worked with over 100 students in English, Math, and Japanese language. I bring positivity and knowledge to each of my sessions. I design a lesson plan and keep parents regularly updated on progress. I love working with my students to see themselves as masters of academics. Anyone can do it.

Hobbies
I have always believed that there are truly limitless possibilities in the world around us. I am very optimistic in my heart. I have solo-traveled to over 20 countries and initially moved to Seattle in 2014 with just a backpack of my things. In 2015, I founded my first company, StudentCircle. Managing that company is my full-time profession; advertising, taxes, personnel management, etc. etc. When I was a child, I was a typical class clown. By the time I was near graduating High School, I was teaching an acting class at the local Buddhist Temple, I had personally invited Ralph Nader to speak at my school and arranged for the event to be televised, I was captain of the basketball team, school SGA president, and my GPA was about a C/D average. More, the attention my accomplishments brought me got to my head. I arrogantly believed my path was the correct one and that I was destined for fame. I couldnt be bothered with school. In my Senior Year, I was suspended from school (and barred from computer use forever) for designing a relay system that spammed the entire school with childhood pictures of our teachers and then subsequently crashing the whole school's email system only a few days after it was implemented. I had a lot of fun as a child, but I didnt understand the importance of academics. When I graduated from High School, I was elected Class Speaker and I spoke about the potential in turning a new leaf at any time in your life. This is the message I bring students, and that is what I did. My parents, ironically, moved away for college (jobs overseas) and I lived in my childhood home, paid bills, and attended a popular local community college, where I became the fastest student to graduate their honors program and the first freshman to win an essay contest for attending a semester abroad to study anything at the University of Cambridge, England. I turned my own life around. I learned that talent can never replace hard work, and I know that the world is a playground of opportunity. I teach academic skills. I help students get organized and I patiently support them, as they develop confidence and subject mastery. That is what I do as a tutor. As a person, never let them say 'cant' and I give them my energy and attention in every moment.
