I graduated college with my bachelor's in contemporary dance performance and ecology. While enrolled, as well as after graduating, I tutored my fellow students in their coursework. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults. I worked at the Si Se Puede Learning Center for two years, teaching K-5 children math, science, writing, and reading. I created interactive lesson plans that made learning more fun for the students. I am comfortable working with middle and high school students in science and math topics. In addition to these subjects, I can tutor gifted courses, as well IB and college students. I believe tutoring is an invaluable way to pass on information to strengthen humanity, allowing them to form stronger connections. When teaching students on a one-on-one basis, I work to understand their learning style and adjust my teaching style to suit it. I adapt my pacing to the student's natural learning rate, allowing them to fully master a concept before moving on to another one. I am a dancer and choreographer in my free time, though I enjoy attending performances and visual arts just as much as I love making it. I am an avid reader with a love for cooking, nature, and making friends.
