Experience
I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in public health at the University of Washington-Seattle. I have experience tutoring students at the college, high school, and middle school levels. I also have experience leading backpacking trips in various parts of the country. One of the aspects of tutoring I enjoy the most is the opportunity to work with students on an individual level. Working with students individually is rewarding because it gives you a better opportunity to really develop a relationship with them, which makes it even more special when they reach their goals. I am also interested in beginning a career in medicine and combining that with my public health degree to help underserved people gain access to healthcare. I am comfortable tutoring students in a variety of math and science related courses, including biology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, and algebra. My hobbies include cooking, reading, hiking, backpacking, and climbing. I tend to be a bit on the quiet side, but I do enjoy meeting new people. I used to play soccer when I was younger, but I don't get to play as often as I would l like. I love anything to do with the outdoors and actually live on a sailboat.
