Experience
As a tutor, I want my students to walk away from our sessions understanding the subject matter and to take that knowledge with them, rather than forget it as soon as they've completed the class. I'm aware testing is an important process of anyone's educational career, and it's my goal to help students learn techniques that reduce the nervousness and make it something they can feel confident in. I've worked as a professional and volunteer tutor, both as an undergrad student and while I study for my degree in medicine. I attended Western Washington University, where I earned a bachelor's in Cell Biology. I have a master's in Physiology from the University of Cincinnati and am currently at the Ohio State University College of Medicine where I am doing residency training. I offer to tutor in Anatomy, Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Science, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, and both high school and college Biology. I also help students get ready for the MCAT test, and work on Analysis and Reasoning skills. When I'm not busy, I love going to the mountains and hiking. I also love to cook food and try out new dishes. I also enjoy buying cheap cars on Craigslist and working on them at home.
