Experience
I have extensive academic and life experience that I believe has shaped me into the great tutor I am today. I have my PH.D. in Literature from the University of Washington, as well as my Bachelor of English from University of Southern Mississippi. I currently work as a composition teacher. I have a lot of experience tutoring students in high school, college, and graduate school. I have helped people in rhetoric, English, world literature, writing, and language. I have also helped with standardized tests, such as the ACT, SAT, and GRE. Finally, I also specialize in proof work and editorial work, including writing samples and admissions essays. I would love to help you or your student in any of these subjects. As a tutor, my goal is to give each person a personalized session that highlights their strengths and addresses their weaknesses. I use our time together to sharpen the skills that are necessary to be successful in school. I am looking forward to meeting new students and helping them achieve academic success. When I am not tutoring, I can be found running, traveling, cooking, and binging on Netflix.
