I'm a strong believer in the power of education, especially when it comes to individualizing tutoring as a means to improve a student's outlook and learning abilities. I use a lot of games and questions as a tutor to help students stay engaged and have fun while they think critically and improve their understanding and confidence. I want students to not only understand the material, but to better understand themselves so that they can achieve success academically, professionally, and in life. I tutor reading, writing, elementary school math, middle school math, essay writing and editing, executive functioning, study skills and organization, business, English through the college level, and test preparation. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, writing, modern and improvisational dance, Capoeira Angola, nature and wilderness, and ultimate Frisbee.
