Private tutor in Seattle, WA
I received by bachelors degree at the University of Iowa (go Hawks!) with a BFA in the arts and a BSE in Civil/Environmental Engineering. I am currently underway to receive my Masters degree at the University of Oregon in Architecture (MArch). Currently I work professionally in Seattle at a Structural Engineering firm. My position deals with 3D design using Revit, Autocad and managing groups of people.
Since I am considered a non-resident from when I started graduate school, my term costs are higher than a resident. For that reason I thought I would look into tutoring to help pay for a some of my side costs. Because I did Engineering, I have extensive knowledge in the areas of Math, Chemistry, C++ and Javah, Circuits, Problem-solving, etc. I have not tutored before, but I have often helped friends with their homework when they need it. At graduation I was nominated as the "Most Outstanding Graduating Senior of my Class - Winter 2009". I was also offered to attend a meeting hosted by Gary Seamans, founder of the College of Engineering on the UI campus, and open to select individuals. I am also a dialysis patient and have done home-hemodialysis for 17 years.
