My knack for explaining complicated ideas in different ways to make them easier to understand comes in part from my experience in higher math - my academic experience in math goes up through linear algebra, real analysis, abstract algebra, and functional analysis. Nonetheless, helping people work through calculus problems as a tutor was often the most rewarding part of my days.
