I have three years experience tutoring Calculus 1, 2, and 3 at the college level, as well as plenty of informal experience helping people prepare for the ACT. My knack for explaining complicated ideas in different ways to make them easier to understand comes in part from my experience in higher math - my academic experience in math goes up through linear algebra, real analysis, abstract algebra, and functional analysis. Nonetheless, helping people work through calculus problems as a tutor was often the most rewarding part of my days.
