Experience
I’ve been blessed with complete bilingualism and excellent interpersonal skills (Thanks Mom :)). I genuinely enjoy working with people, getting to know them, their needs, and point of views. I am very patient and understanding. I am able to explain concepts in different ways, whether it be to use metaphors/tables/diagrams to make them more clear. I have worked with students from many years now, through tutoring, working for different camps/after school programs and teaching assistant. I am completely fluent in Spanish. While in H.S. I took the AP Spanish test twice scored a 4 and 5. During college I earned a Minor in Spanish. I have also made extensive backpacking trips all through Mexico, Central and South America. I also dabble in professional interpretation and translation. I currently work for a women’s clothing designer, our company manufactures everything in Peru, as Inventory Controller I am in constant phone/email communication with all of our factories. More than anything I am passionate about helping others and find so much joy in learning new things.
