I would like to Tutor younger children to help show them how to learn. I do not want to simply give them the answers. I am a natural teacher and work well with children. I am fun, understanding, smart, and relate well with children. I remember having a tutor when I was younger and I would love to teach children how we, together, made learning fun and interesting for myself. While In Highschool I was a Chemistry Lab Assistant for 8th Graders helping with experiments and filling in for a teacher's unexpected absence. In College I took several Biology classes including Principles of Bio, Fundamentals of Bio, and Field Biology (Small mammal study and plant identification). I produced and presented a writing portfolio to present to the English department placing myself out of writing classes.

Hobbies
I found myself in Seattle after a cross country bicycle ride that raised money and building efforts for Affordable housing all over the country. I gave presentations to many youth groups for this project and found it fun to convey this information to a younger group of people. I am a self taught guitarist, a naturalist, a music lover, and extremely well traveled. I have just arrived in Seattle and have a volunteer position lined up to teach children music and art at a local program designed to get kids out into nature.
