The learning process is complex and unique to each individual. I cater my approach to the learning style and unique strengths of each of my students and do whatever it takes to ensure that their experience is a positive one. Drawing from an academic background in psychology and education, I am meta-cognitive in my approach, with the goal being to discover which techniques and strategies work best to support student in mastering the material. The ultimate objective is for students to be independent in their learning and apply the techniques that fit their learning style across all content areas. In this way, they gain valuable insight that they take with them throughout their life, transforming their approach to academics, work, and life. A strong academic foundation and extensive experience allow me to engage and support students at any stage of the learning process. I am patient and can explain any concept in different ways. During the course of our work together, my students see dramatic improvement, and I have noticed a related shift in their attitude towards academics. I look forward to working with you!
