Private tutor in Seattle, WA

Education

Seattle University Class of 2009. Major in English/Creative Writing with Departmental Honors. Cum Laude. GPA: 3.56 Major GPA: 3.78

Experience

I volunteered for a year in the Homework Lab at the Rotary Boys and Girls Club where I helped students grades 1-12 with homework assignments of all subjects. As an English major and someone who has had a lifelong passion for reading and writing, I feel most qualified to tutor students needing help in any English/language arts/writing/literature class. Nonetheless, I have taken math classes to a Calculus level, and am confident in my ability to tutor European or American history as well. I'm an energetic and patient person, and am good at connecting with students of all ages. My only limitation is in transport. I live on Capitol Hill, and so owning a car is a bit impractical. I am very bus savvy though, and am happy to walk a reasonable distance from a bus stop.
