Experience
I've tutored Turkish, elementary school math and reading, Ochem I, Ochem II and Algebra professionally. During college I taught other students biology and organic chemistry two to three hours a week. After all this I found I liked teaching students subject matters I found exciting and gave me reason to study and learn more about a subject. I found that nothing teaches me more than teaching a subject to someone else. My students have inadvertently taught me quite a bit about my own subject. My favorite thing to say is "I don't know, let me get back to you on that." then I will study it for hours if necessary then get back to the student the next day and tell them what I learned.
