I've volunteered at the Atlantic Street Center tutoring young boys and girls during the summer on all subjects. I've been able to develop a unique, collaborative way of tutoring that helps students develop independence in a challenging subject, rather than develop dependence on a tutor. I specialize in helping with ADHD strategies and study skills for younger kids, as I grew up with ADHD and had to develop strategies for working through its challenges. Out of everything, I think I have the most fun seeing students develop confidence in subjects they previously struggled with; that is by far the most rewarding part of tutoring for me.
