For over five years I have enjoyed tutoring students from third grade to graduate level in such subjects as Latin, Ancient Greek, English, SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, Classics, and essay writing. My students have significantly increased their standardized test scores by over 250 points on the SAT and 4 points on the ACT. I have gained experience tutoring students with learning differences, including ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. In addition to my tutoring experience, I was a participant in two international archaeological programs, one in Rome, Italy, and another in Tel Dor, Israel. I have also published my master's thesis on how a witch-hero fits into ancient epic trends in a Neronian Latin poem, Lucan's "Civil War". Many of my clients have complimented me by offering me referrals and have offered to be references. Building my tutoring business is my priority this summer, so I very much look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

I find that my passions lie in translating Latin poetry, reading anything epic in scope or tradition, expressing myself via such media as writing and painting, and practicing meditation and martial arts. I have received a black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu and a black sash in Tai Chi and currently practice Xingyiquan, a form of internal Chinese boxing.
