Shanon M.
Private tutor in Seattle, WA
Education
Washington State University - BS, Wildlife Ecology
Experience
I attended Washington State University where I earned an undergraduate degree in wildlife ecology. I currently am an educator for the Woodland Park Zoo, and I inform K-12 students about topics related to the natural world. I love education, and my favorite subjects are math, chemistry, and biology. Successful learning requires knowing how to learn. I teach students the learning process, and I encourage them to be patient and diligent. I am looking forward to graduate school in the future to earn a master's degree in science and math teaching. I would love to become a high school biology teacher. I can tutor students in algebra, geometry, biology, reading, studying and organizational skills, time management, English, and others. When I have free time, I like to run, ski, hike, play volleyball, read, watch movies, and hang out with family and friends.
