I attended Whitman College to earn my bachelor's degree in biology. I've always had a love of the sciences, and I have an innate curiosity about the natural world. I enjoy sharing what I know and my love of learning with others. I specialize in tutoring math, natural sciences, writing, and history. I also enjoy helping students with study skills, time management, the college application process, and test preparation for standardized exams like the GRE, PSAT, and others. Specifically, I can tutor algebra one and two, biology, high school and college level chemistry, calculus, pre-calculus, general elementary and middle school math, geometry, anatomy, microbiology and physiology, English through the college level, essay writing and editing, physics, and other related subjects. I'm currently working for the Seattle Aquarium, where I get to supervise volunteers from high schools. Working with young people and supporting them is rewarding to me, and I really enjoy this position. When I have free time, I enjoy skiing and water skiing, riding my bike, cooking good food, and spending time with friends. I also love to read, and I particularly enjoy books that help me learn about the world.
