Experience
I thoroughly enjoy being a science teacher. I received my Natural Sciences degree at Cambridge University (UK) and my degree in teaching from Oxford two years later. I enjoyed several years as a high school teacher in Biology and Chemistry in the UK, and I also spent time tutoring there before we relocated to the Seattle area due to my spouse's work. Since moving to Seattle, I have spent time volunteering at the library and the zoo, and I have mentored at the YMCA, helping all ages of students with their homework. At the present time, I am a stay-at-home mom of my two girls looking to resume teaching as a tutor. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and experiencing all that this area has to offer. I also like to read, sing, run, and spend some time with friends and family.
