Experience
I went to Washington University to earn my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. My tutoring experience includes work at a community college math and science center and several years of assisting middle school students with their IEPs. I love math and science topics, and I can achieve this due to one particular instructor. I model my tutoring after this instructor who challenged us, provided the resources we needed, and was enthusiastic about the subject, which was infectious. When I do this with students, they get motivated to succeed and they start learning better. I enjoy tutoring students in math because it develops the basis students need to learn other STEM topics. When I have free time, I like to hike, kayak, woodwork, and practice what I've learned with rockets and robotics.
