University of Washington - B.A., Geography

Experience

I believe education has incredible value and enjoy sharing my knowledge of English, history, and geography with others. Also, I can tutor writing, literature, essay editing, geography, social studies, and study skills while helping prepare for exams such as the SAT and TOEFL. I love doing what I do particularly when I can see a student's progress and they actually reach their goals. For some time, I have tutored students on the side in a private setting.I have a degree in history and geography from the University of Washington, where I graduated from in 2006. My plan is to attend the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Seattle University. I have traveled to over 40 different countries and have done quite a bit of research too. One of the countries I spent time in was the Republic of Georgia, where I lived for over two years. While there, I thought ESL to academy staff and cadets as well as Georgian police officers.I am currently living in Seattle, Washington. In between my academic pursuits and when not working hard as a tutor, I enjoy reading, cinema, and soccer and am open to sharing these passions with my students as well.
