I earned a B.A. in Journalism and English from Syracuse University and am pursuing a teaching degree. My favorite subjects, as both a student and a teacher, are Writing and English Literature. Words are fundamental to communication, and I believe that proper usage is very important. I also believe that laughter is an important part of life, and that students who are enjoying themselves tend to learn better. Experience tells me that most students benefit from demonstration, so I strive to offer thorough explanations and use examples to illustrate the process. In addition to Writing and English Literature, I work with students in French, Spanish, American History, and Social Studies. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, writing, sketching, watching movies, and hiking.
