Saint Mary's College of California - BA, Integrated Liberal Arts , Saint Marys College of California - MA, Education

I studied education at Saint Mary's College of California for my bachelor's degree and my master's degree. I've been teaching math for two years, and geometry is my favorite subject to teach. As a tutor, I gained my first experience helping peers learn geometry, and I became enamored with geometry reading Euclid's Elements as a college student. I believe math is a powerful tool for education because it helps students develop critical thinking and logic skills. For this reason, I focus on helping students develop a full understanding of math as opposed to rote memorization. When I have free time, I enjoy baseball.
