Knox College - BA, Physics, Chemistry

My role as a tutor is to encourage my students to be motivated learners by making the subject as enjoyable and interesting for them as possible. I graduated from an International Baccalaureate high school program in Uganda, which makes me very familiar with the content and expectations of the program. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Physics from Knox College. While in college, I worked as a tutor in Physics for three years and earned my Level III master tutor certification from the College Reading and Learning Association. Additionally, I worked as a lab teaching assistant in Organic Chemistry. After I graduated, I traveled to Thailand, where I taught Math at an international middle school. I am interested in tutoring a variety of courses in Math, Chemistry, and Physics. My favorite subject to tutor is Physics. During my free time, I like to drink tea and read, learn about history, bake, bike, and swim.
