Private tutor in Seattle, WA
Rutgers University-New Brunswick - BA, History , Tel Aviv University - MA, TESOL
I graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in history and Spanish. Upon completing college, I studied in Israel for two years, at Tel Aviv University, and received my master's degree in teaching English as second language. In 2013, I returned to school and received an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College. When I was living in Israel, I worked at a public school as an English teacher for students between the ages of five and fourteen. I have also taught at an elementary school in Los Angeles for three years, working with students from grades two to four. In addition, I held private sessions for elementary students of all ages.I love to teach, regardless of the student's age and background. I have taught Hebrew and Jewish studies to a range of students between the ages of five and eighty five. I am available to tutor a wide variety of other subjects such as Spanish, English, American and European History, geography, and social studies. I enjoy helping eager students develop a greater understanding in subjects that interest them. It is my personal belief that everyone has the propensity to learn even the most difficult of subjects, and this can be done by breaking down difficult tasks into smaller, more manageable steps.
