When I graduated from the University of Washington in 2015, my mind was set on becoming an anesthesiologist at Seattle Children's Hospital or Boston Children's Hospital. After working in medical research for two years, I humbly discovered that building up others to take on prestigious positions pays dividends to our communities far greater than I, as an individual, could ever pay forward. This is why I founded NextGen. NextGen is an education-focused business that strives to build the next generation of professionals through academic tutoring support as well as various arts and disciplinary programs. Currently, we provide all private and group education support one may need (tutoring, SAT/ACT prep, college apps, academic counseling, and more), dance classes for students of all ages, and self-defense classes for young girls. Hobbies
I am co-founder and manager of a local dance group. I breakdance professionally, perform and compete at many local and national events, and occasionally tour when my schedule permits. Notable performances: WNBA All-Star halftime show, Sasquatch! Music Festival, Dance THIS! at the Paramount Theater in Seattle, Ice Cube's BIG3 basketball tournament, Mackie (TV commercial), and We Day Seattle. In my spare time, I play guitar, write, and produce music. My current travel goals are to visit (and hopefully tour professionally) Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, and South Korea. I'm a huge nerd that loves chess, but kids sometimes think I'm "cool" (debatable) because I drive a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. I listen to Eminem, Tech N9ne, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole religiously.
