Private tutor in Seattle, WA

Education

BS in Biology from Walla Walla University

Experience

I've never tutored for money before, but spent a lot of my college classes working with classmates on homework, or reviewing for tests. Usually it was for classes I was in at the time, but I also got asked on a fairly regular basis for help in classes I wasn't currently taking. I want to be a tutor because I have a passion for science and interest in the world around us, and I want to be able to share that with anyone who isn't getting enough out of their regular school curriculum. I've taken biology, chemistry, human anatomy (with the bodies and everything), animal physiology, ecology, cell biology, and biostatistics. Regarding my availability, I currently have a part-time retail job, which schedules me unpredictably for shifts during the week. This means that I could possibly be available any day, but won't know more than a week in advance. If you'd like me to plan to always be available on Wednesdays, or Mondays and Fridays at a given time or something of that nature, let me know and I can change my availability at work.
