Experience
I am a math tutor who has worked with students of all age ranges on an individual or group basis. Math is used in everyday circumstances, and examples of math can be seen everywhere. Therefore, I think everyone can find math approachable and, even if not naturally inclined, can learn that mathematics concepts are indeed comprehensible. As a tutor, I also have experience working with groups training for math competitions. I teach elementary math all the way to advanced math subjects like Calculus. I have prepared students for all levels of standardized exams, which include the SAT, CAHSEE, COMPASS, ASPIRE, ACT, AP, and GRE. I also have a background teaching computer science and technology. I completed my undergraduate degree program in Mathematics and minored in Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington. I enjoy math as an occupation as well as for fun. Other hobbies of mine include cooking, playing board games, and bicycling.
