I'm in my senior year at UW. I will graduate with a Philosophy degree and a minor in American Indian Studies. I completed my first two years at Seattle Central Community College with a 3.8 GPA. My current UW GPA is 3.2.
Experience
I tutored ESL students at SCCC. I've also edited 20+ peers' essays. I will eventually become a community college instructor. Currently I write for a high fashion magazine, Mostmag.com. ------------------------------------------------ I honestly enjoy helping others advance their writing. Everyone has the ability to enjoy writing. The trick is to turn the process of writing into a less daunting and elusive task. Big words and complex sentences tend to confuse the audience. Keep it simple and your anxiety toward writing will decrease. The core of good writing is effectively communicating ideas. We all express our thoughts and ideas verbally without much struggle. Writing is just a different medium to communicate to others.
