Experience

I attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, in addition to Temple University. I am a teacher with over twenty years' experience teaching history and geography. In my school, I teach every class related to world civilization and US history, in addition to European and Asian studies. My primary goal is to help students see uncover the big picture, allowing them to understand the significance of big historical events.I enjoy conducting one-on-one sessions with my students, where I am allowed to work closely with individuals and help them develop a deeper understanding of the subject. I teach to help students build strategies that help them read and understand historical significance, as well as memorize historical dates and facts. In addition to history, I teach advance placement tests, global politics, social studies, English, and US government. I am also able to help students develop their writing skills. In my spare time, I like to stay active through traveling, playing baseball, and kayaking.
