I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Nutritional Science from the University of Washington Seattle. I will be attending Tulane University in the fall to get my MPH in Epidemiology.

Previous experience tutoring high school level math to various students. I have also taught young students about the political ecology of the world food system at Seattle Tilth. I'm interested in many aspects of Public Health but especially from a nutritional standpoint. I have done research for the Fresh Bucks Program through the University of Washington which provides supplement dollars to those of low income to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers markets. I also love to travel. I recently returned from a three month trip to South East Asia. I visited the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. While i was away I volunteered on an organic farm through the wwoofing program.
