I received my undergraduate degree in English from Florida Atlantic University. I am passionate about women's studies, poetry, and fiction. I tutor a wide variety of courses in grades K-12, including French 1-3, reading, essay writing and editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, social studies, creative writing, vocabulary, fiction writing, poetry writing, introduction to fiction, introduction to poetry, American literature, British literature, short novel, languages, literary analysis, and Shakespeare.I've had great personal success with standardized tests, scoring perfectly on the verbal portion of the SAT. I enjoy sharing my strategies and helping students prepare for their own upcoming exams such as the ACT, SAT, or PSAT.I live a very mindful life, and it is important that my students have a learning environment that doesn't increase their stress. Because of this, my tutoring style is very positive and encouraging. I want to ensure my students build their personal confidence. It is only when a student believes in themselves that learning can occur.During my free time, I enjoy writing, art, reading, and yoga.
